2. Data we collect
- Account data: email address and name provided during sign-up (via Clerk).
- Billing data: subscription plan and status (via Stripe). We do not store card numbers.
- Usage data: events such as sign-up and checkout actions (via PostHog analytics) — only with your consent.
- Error data: technical error reports to diagnose bugs (via Sentry).
3. Why we collect it
- To provide and operate the service (legal basis: contract).
- To send transactional emails — receipts, account notices (legal basis: contract).
- To analyse product usage and improve the service (legal basis: consent, which you may withdraw).
4. Third-party processors
We share data only with processors necessary to operate the service:
- Clerk — authentication
- Supabase — database (hosted in the US)
- Stripe — payments
- Resend — transactional email
- PostHog — analytics (only if you consent)
- Sentry — error tracking
- Vercel — hosting and deployment
- Upstash — rate limiting (no personal data stored)
- OpenAI — AI embeddings (used for search features)
- Pinecone — vector database (used for search features)
5. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Billing records are retained for 7 years for tax/legal compliance. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7).
6. Cookies & tracking
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication. We use PostHog analytics cookies only with your explicit consent via the cookie banner. You may withdraw consent at any time by clicking "Cookie Preferences" in the footer.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. To exercise these rights, email support@getlaunchpad.net. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Changes
We will notify you of material changes by email or a notice on the site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
